Hospitality assured at Essex
Hospitality Essex has secured accreditation by the professional body for the hospitality industry, the Institute of Hospitality.
Hospitality Assured (HA) is the quality standard created by the Institute specifically for customer facing businesses to create a service culture that delights customers and supports business sustainability.
Assessors spent two days at the Colchester Campus assessing all areas of the business – from service performance and customer satisfaction to staff training and support.
Tim Morris, General Manager of Hospitality Essex, said: “The process encouraged us to look at our operation from the customer's perspective, and to see where improvements could be made to benefit the service provided.”
In particular, assessors praised the “wide range of customer driven themes and initiatives” in place together with the processes that “consider customer feedback which are used in the overall review of service performance”.
Tim added: “This prestigious award demonstrates our continued commitment, enthusiasm, and professionalism to provide high quality, high value customer focused services.”
