Coach service to Stansted Airport will continue

The TGM Group will be taking over the X22 service from the University of Essex's Colchester Campus to Stansted Airport from Sunday 9 January 2011.

The X22 service will operate around the clock, every two hours, 364 days a year, beginning at the University of Essex and continuing to Colchester North Station before going on to Braintree and Stansted Airport.
Transport Policy Co-ordinator Charlotte Humphries said: "We are delighted the service is continuing thanks to TGM Group and our staff and students can continue to enjoy quick and easy access to Stansted Airport by using the X22 coach service.
“This is a very important service for the University community and Colchester residents so it is brilliant news that the area can continue benefitting from this route.
"TGM Group taking over the X22 service will now provide a seamless service once First Essex Buses cease operating the route on January 8.”
The X22 Colchester to Stansted Airport service is part of TGM's Stansted Airport bus and coach network which also includes the X5 Ipswich to Stansted Airport service.
Tickets can be bought at www.TGMX22.com, retail ticket agents or from the coach driver.

First and last services from Sunday 9 January 2011 will be:
- From Stansted Airport, First coach - 0.30am. Last coach 10pm.
- From University of Essex, First coach - 2.05am. Last coach 11.20pm.
