History
This page is intended to be a convenient crossover between mySkills and the Department of History. While the material on mySkills has been especially authored to be specific to Essex and have wide relevance, it is always worthwhile checking your departmental webpages, preferably before you read any generic advice, just in case you find what you need. The First Year Website in particular contains a lot of valuable information about core first-year modules and how they support your development of history-specific skills. The Undergraduate Handbook also contains some good advice and help.
