This module will give students the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complexities in critically evaluating study design, analysis and interpretation of research studies.
The module will cover the practical usage and critical analysis of different research methodologies in traditional research setting and within an applied environment.
The aim of the module is to equip students with the ability to understand the research process so research can be applied in a strength and conditioning context.
1. A critical understanding of the research process, including study design, analysis, and interpretation.
2. A systemic understanding of statistical analysis.
3. Demonstrate an advanced use of information technology for data handing, interpretation, and enquiry purposes.

Online lectures will take place weekly. Seminars will support the online content where students will be able to discuss and actively participant in discuss and active practice to support their learning.
