MSC B16024 Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration)
This module facilitates students' knowledge and understanding of critical thinking and academic skills such as searching, retrieving, appraising and reporting evidence to allow to students to begin to engage with evidence-based practice and life-long learning.
To foster students’ knowledge and understanding of critical thinking and academic skills such as searching, retrieving, appraising and reporting evidence.
To engage students with evidence-based practice and life-long learning.
On successful completion of this module, the student will be able to:
1. Identify, retrieve and make critical judgements on a range of sources of information.
2. Communicate conclusions effectively in a well-structured manner to convey complex information and ideas.
3. Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the value in using a variety of sources of information in practice.
4. Critically discuss the concept of evidence based practice in contemporary healthcare.
