This module provides a detailed analysis of the employment law of the European Union, including EU rules on discrimination in employment, on the content of the employment contract, and on the position of employees when their employment is terminated or when their employment changes hands. It also examines the impact of the European Convention of Human Rights on employment law, in particular as regards trade unions.
Learning and Teaching Methods
This module is taught over a period of 9 weeks, through two-hour long seminars.

A written paper of 5,000 words including footnotes, excluding bibliography to be submitted in accordance with LLM guidelines
