Session:

The odds on getting a job are at their worst at the application stage. This session, based on a short-listing exercise, is designed to maximise your chances of getting an interview and thus securing the job.  The aims of the session are:

  • to gain a better understanding of the application process in academia
  • to learn what makes a good academic CV

Dr Martin Sellens has been on many recruitment panels.  He will share some insights of the recruitment process as a selector at this session.
