Postgraduate Workshops
The
purpose of the postgraduate workshops is twofold. First, it will help students
gain those research skills necessary to complete their research. Second, it is
aimed at bettering the social life of the postgraduate student.
Through a series of workshops, you will be given an informal opportunity to ask
those questions you never got to ask as well as prepare beforehand for
research-related tasks needed later during your programme of study. In turn this
will enable senior students to transfer skills and knowledge acquired during
their study.
Throughout small informal social venues you will be given the opportunity to
meet fellow students in your dept you wouldn't otherwise meet, as well as get a
break from everyday academics."
