Deadline date for handing in dissertations and all independent projects is Tuesday 1st May 2012 by 4.00pm.  Please hand in to General Office (except for Theatre Studies which are handed in to Theatre Studies Office). There is no online submission for these projects.

The third year offers students the chance to develop their own academic interests in depth by electing to replace one third-year taught module with an Independent Study Project. 

Depending on degree, one of the following Independent Study Projects may be undertaken:

• Independent Literature Project (ILP)(LT831-6-FY)

• Independent Practical Theatre Project (IPTP) (TH831-6-FY)

• Independent Creative Writing Project (ICWP)(LT832-6-FY)

• Independent Practical Film Project (IPFP) (LT833-6-FY)   

• Independent Project in Film Studies (IPFS) (LT834-6-FY)

Presentation Training

• There will be Presentation training for this years students on Wednesday 14 December from 1430 to 1530 in room 5A.118

• Your presentations will take place on 8th and 15th  February from 1400 - 1800 in 5A.325 - individual times to be decided

• There will be an Independent Study talk for those interested in 2012/2013 (for all except Theatre Studies)on 25 January 2012 at 1300 -1500 in 5A.330
