Facilities for worship
We have space for worship, meditation, prayer and quiet reflection at our
Colchester and Southend campuses.
Colchester Campus
The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy at our Colchester Campus supports the
religious and spiritual needs of our students and staff. It has chaplains
and representatives for nearly every major Faith and Christian denomination
and a worship space which is open for use to all members of our University,
who wish to pray, meditate or spend time in quiet reflection.
The names and
contact details of the different Faith group chaplains and representatives
can be found in the user groups section of our website. Alternatively, the
Anglican, Catholic and Muslim Chaplains have offices in the Chaplaincy and
will be happy to help you connect with your own Faith group.
Southend Campus
At the Southend Campus there is a
chaplaincy centre and a prayer room based in Room R2.66, on the second floor
of The Gateway Building. The chaplaincy welcomes all faith
groups and will advise and support students or staff of all faiths.
