Welcome to the University of Essex
Your induction
As a new member of staff, the University will support you to ensure that your
integration into the staff community and campus life is as welcoming and
rewarding as possible. Transition into a new role or workplace happens over a
period of time, and your department or section will familiarise you with your
specific area of work and your specific role. A key part of your induction will
also be the University welcome event which takes place at both Colchester and
Southend campuses.
New Staff Induction day - Colchester
This Induction Day will give you the chance to hear from the senior management team, meet colleagues from all over the institution, and find out about the University.
The next event available to book a place will be held on 21 September 2012 at the Colchester Campus. New members of staff need to attend the full day. Other members of staff can book individual
workshops by following the booking link below.
