Essex Language Conference for Teachers

The Essex Language Conference for Teachers (ELCT) is an annual one-day conference for teachers of modern foreign languages, teachers of English language and other teachers interested in language(s) in the widest sense to share ideas and be inspired about language teaching. The audience includes primary school teachers who are interested in language teaching.

The conference is informal and includes lectures by academics in our Department as well as practical workshops. It is held on a Saturday and participants will receive a certificate of attendance for their professional development records.
