Jessie Mallinson studied at the University of Essex where she obtained a BA Hons Latin American Studies.  She joined the Department of Language &   Linguistics in 1992 and has taught on a variety of courses.   She is interested in the development of teaching materials for beginners’ students in a Higher Education context.  She also has a strong interest in Latin American, and particularly Mexican, culture. She is director of the Initial LA410 and Elementary Spanish LA420 Modules.

She joined Essex in 1992. Ms Torres is Module Director for LA430 - Intermediate Spanish, LA440 - Advanced Level
Spanish and LA457 - Spanish & Latin American Art Film and Media.
She studied at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid where she trained as a language teacher.   She joined Essex in 1992 and gained an MA in Applied Linguistics while teaching at Essex. She is interested in developing teaching materials and Latin American and Spanish culture, particularly music, art and cinema. Teresa is director of LA430 (Intermediate Spanish), LA440 (Advanced Spanish) and LA457 (Spanish and Latin American Art, Film and Music)
