The Molan Network Project

Student using computing facilities   The Department of Language and Linguistics is a partner institution of the MOLAN Network, a
three year project funded by the European Union. The objective of
this network is to identify and
  exchange information about good
practices that serve to motivate language learning. It aims to
  bring about,
on a large scale, a positive attitude among young Europeans in formal education
towards the learning of foreign languages as well as towards other peoples and cultures.

The MOLAN Network is coordinated by the Freie Universität Berlin and includes more than 40 higher education institutions and schools in 24 European countries, as well as four major European and national organisations, namely the European Language Council (CEL/ELC), the European University Foundation (Campus Europae), the EUN Partnership AISBL (European Schoolnet) and CILT, the UK National Centre for Languages.
