Pre Requisite for entry: Prerequisite for entry: Pass LA611/612 - Intensive Initial Italian, pass LA630 - Intermediate Italian,  good A level. Entry test available for students with international background and no formal qualifications.

Il territorio italiano, parchi ed isole d’Italia, la dieta mediterranea ed il movimento Slow Food, due esempi del legame dei prodotti con il territorio: il riso ed il tonno, le sagre, la TV e la radio, i giornali italiani, il design e la moda, breve storia dell’arte italiana.

 Main features of the module:

You will be taught in the target language (Italian).

 You will be assessed by coursework only.

 Your independence in reading, researching and choosing how to report findings will be greatly encouraged.

 Tutorials are arranged during term time in order to facilitate the learning process.

 The module is organized in units. Two hours are devoted to class work and one hour to the presentation of the                       

 topic delivered by the teacher.

 

 The module material is uploaded on the university’s CMR (Course Materials Repository). There is not a textbook to buy.

 Reading what is suggested is paramount to the successful completion of the module.
