This module is open to students who have an A-level grade A/B/C (or equivalent) in French. The emphasis of the module is on the building up of confidence in all language skills. You will develop your oral and written fluency, thoroughly revise and extend your knowledge of grammar, and learn the foundations of the French sound system. The range of topics covered is quite wide and includes student life in France, work and leisure, the cinema, TV and the development of the French language. In addition there is one set book to be read and studied.
