Kristina Fleuty

Kristina is studying for an MA in Literature. The foundation of her studies is literature from the English canon, but she has studied a variety of texts from other countries, including the United States, Russia and more recently the Caribbean. Kristina loves the interdisciplinary approach of studying literature, as it often involves consideration of other subject areas, such as psychology, history and geography. A particular interest of Kristina’s is the psychological journey of characters in texts. She is also an enthusiastic creative writer and supporter of the arts as a means of self exploration.

Rebekah Bonaparte

Rebekah is an Undergraduate in her second year studying History and Literature. Her joint honours discipline allows her to explore her main academic interest through different view points and methods. Her historical academic interests are gender and race in history, as well as the Cold War and the French Revolution and the effect they had on the modern world. Her literary interests include that of modern writers and the Romanticism era, she also has a keen interest in American Literature in particularly the exploration of the politics of the South.

Maxwell Stevenson

Maxwell is part of the University’s Learning and Development team. He works primarily with academic staff on projects related to all areas of learning and teaching. His interests are wide-ranging, but were recently focused on the ideas that shape the built environment, which was the subject of his PhD.
