23/04/04 - JIE a Double Golden Page Award Winner

The Journal of Industrial Economics has been selected as the winner of the 2004 Emerald Management Reviews Golden Page Awards for both Research Implications and Originality, in the category of Business Context and Economics.
Only titles included on the Emerald Management Reviews Accredited Journal Coverage List are eligible to compete for a Golden Page Award. The list is reviewed annually and consists of the top 400 management titles worldwide as determined by an Accreditation Board made up of renowned management experts such as Professor Philip Kotler and Professor Gerald Vinten, Past President of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Every article from each journal is then reviewed and appraised by specialist, independent reviewers, giving a unique insight into how consistently a journal has performed. There is no other independent process that comprehensively and rigorously evaluates so many journals, making the awards the only one of their kind. A Golden Page Award is presented to the journal that emerges from its discipline as top for the whole year, having received the highest aggregate score for all its articles.

We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Industrial Economics has won the Emerald Golden Page Award 2002 for Research Implications. The Golden Page Awards are presented annually to those few, outstanding management periodicals that consistently deliver excellent articles throughout a calendar year. To be eligible for a Golden Page Award, a title must first be selected for inclusion in the exclusive Emerald Management Reviews 'Top 400' Accredited List by the Accreditation Board, which comprises experts from academia and industry. Every published article within every publication on the Top 400 is then reviewed and evaluated, leading to the final list of winners.
