Undergraduate students of Sapporo Gakuin University in the second or third year of study.

Intensive training in English for Academic Purposes with further components on British Studies and a particular focus on Communication skills.

An intensive programme of 4 and a half months (September – January)

Within the field of EAP: to develop productive skills, particularly seminar presentation and public speaking. Within the field of British Studies: to develop participants' understanding of the British economic system, its society and culture.

The programme is divided into two modules. For the first modules, participants following the International Academy Pre-Sessional programme which focuses on English for academic purposes and study skills. The second module follows a special syllabus developed in collaboration with the students' home university. This syllabus includes aspects of British Studies and English for Business.
