"Welcome to the International Academy, whether you are just visiting or have joined one of our courses.
What you find here is a mix of students from the UK, Europe and many countries from around the world that you will be sharing your classes and your free time with. Some of the people you meet here will be your best friends for the rest of your life so we know how important a step this is for you.

We have courses that give you opportunities not found elsewhere. You can enter the second year of many degrees if you do well on our pathway programmes or you can take four-years to do a degree with a bigger choice of courses sure to meet your needs.

If you need to improve your English you can choose from many possible start dates depending on what you need before you begin your degree study. We have been running English courses for more than 30 years and have constantly improved and updated them so you will be in very experienced hands.

We are not a private company attached to a university. We are an academic department of the University so from your very first moment here you are a student like anyone else at Essex so you can use all the facilities and really feel you belong here."
