We have a range of University of Essex opportunities including our Academic Excellence Scholarship where students applying for postgraduate studies with a GPA of 3.25+ receive £2,000 or the International Scholarship where both postgraduate students from the USA can receive £3,000.

US Direct Loans

A variety of federal loans are available which we are registered to receive. More info can be found here.

British Marshall Scholarship

Up to 40 are available for students to study at graduate level in the UK in any field offering tuition fees discounts, cost of living expenses, book grant, thesis grant, travel expenses and, where applicable, a contribution to support a dependent spouse. Fulbright Awards

As a Fulbright Commission partner institution Essex receives one Fulbright scholar to study for a taught Masters degree (or the first year of a longer Master's or PhD programme) in any subject each year.

GI Bill

U.S Veterans can use the GI Bill to fund education and Essex is approved to receive this.
