School and college activities
We offer a huge range of activities throughout the year to give students
an insight into what it is like to study at university, to support those
considering applying and to increase access to the opportunities offered by
higher education.
The activities we offer:
- Summer
schools – provide an insight into the range of subjects and courses
on offer in higher education and give participants an experience of
student life.
- Campus visits
– your students will be able to enjoy a whole range of activities which
show them what university is really like. We can cater for groups of
between 20 and 50 students.
- 6th form conferences – a number of different conferences aimed at
year 12 and 13 students giving useful subject taster experience and
important guidance on decision making.

Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) support – we work with our
Student Support team to run a variety of events during the year.
- School and
college talks – we travel to schools around the UK to deliver talks
on higher education which meet your specific needs.
- University
Challenge primary school project – a total of 16 primary schools are
working with us to transform attitudes to higher education.
- Mature
students support – we give extra support to mature students to help
them take full advantage of the opportunities offered by higher
education.
- Careers and
higher education fairs – we travel to higher education fairs across
the UK and are also happy to support careers events.

Realising Opportunities project – we are working with 11
universities across the country to increase access to higher education.
- Extended Project
Qualification (EPQ) support –we can offer extra support to help
students develop the key skills needed to successfully complete their
EPQ.
