School and college activities

school and college activities

We offer a huge range of activities throughout the year to give students an insight into what it is like to study at university, to support those considering applying and to increase access to the opportunities offered by higher education.

The activities we offer:

  • Summer schools – provide an insight into the range of subjects and courses on offer in higher education and give participants an experience of student life.
  • Campus visits – your students will be able to enjoy a whole range of activities which show them what university is really like. We can cater for groups of between 20 and 50 students.
  • 6th form conferences – a number of different conferences aimed at year 12 and 13 students giving useful subject taster experience and important guidance on decision making.
  • Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) support – we work with our Student Support team to run a variety of events during the year.
  • School and college talks – we travel to schools around the UK to deliver talks on higher education which meet your specific needs.
  • University Challenge primary school project – a total of 16 primary schools are working with us to transform attitudes to higher education.
  • Mature students support – we give extra support to mature students to help them take full advantage of the opportunities offered by higher education.
  • Careers and higher education fairs – we travel to higher education fairs across the UK and are also happy to support careers events.
  • Realising Opportunities project – we are working with 11 universities across the country to increase access to higher education.
