Doctoral Affiliates Network of the Human Rights Centre

The Essex Human Rights Centre Doctoral Affiliates Network was the creation of Dr Andrew Fagan, HRC Director of Academic Programmes and continues to be supported by the Centre. The network exists to encourage and promote multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary doctoral research into the theory and application of human rights. It provides a forum for doctoral students, from any department within Essex University, whose theses relates to human rights in some way, it is run by the students so it can respond to its members' needs. It is an opportunity to share research, discuss or debate human rights issues, talk through any difficulties people may be having with their studies and to generally support each other.

Each year student representatives are nominated for the Doctoral Affiliates network, the current reps are Cicek Gockun and Jo Easton.
