HRC Speaker Series
The Essex Human Rights Centre Speakers Series aims to
develop an understanding and awareness of the work of human rights professionals
and practitioners. Each Speakers Series event provides an invaluable opportunity
for staff and students to meet and engage with human rights professionals and
practitioners whose work is directly and practically concerned with the
protection and promotion of human rights across the world. Over many years, the
Speakers Series has hosted leading human rights professionals from policy-makers
to grass-roots activists. Speakers Series events are held regularly throughout
the academic year. A calendar for this year’s events can be found below.
