Student Involvement
The Essex HR Clinic is designed for post-graduate level students, especially LLM/MA with a human rights
component. On a case-by-case basis the Essex HR Clinic may also accommodate undergraduate participation.
The recruitment period takes place at the beginning of the academic year.
Volunteer placements are opened to students to work with the Clinic throughout
the whole year. Paid Frontrunners
placements have 3 starting points - November, January and July - and are
advertised through the Frontrunners official website. Please apply by 3rd June
2011 for Frontrunner positions.
Additionally, the Essex HR Clinic
may recruit on an ad hoc basis throughout the year as the Essex
HR Clinic and its projects develops.

Once recruited, students will
follow a Clinical Induction Workshop, which take place in
November, and will attend skills workshops throughout the year.
