Our Donors
The Essex HR Clinic received initial funding from the Human
Rights Centre in 2008 to support a comparative study of similar clinics in other
schools and to develop a proposal for an innovative clinic appropriate to the
multi-disciplinary human rights ethos and programme at the University of Essex.
Initial case-work was also supported financially by the Human Rights Centre. In
2009-10, the Human Rights Centre and the School of Law committed financial
resources to develop Essex HR Clinic, and sought additional financial resources
from within the University, as indicated below. In addition, some part-time
temporary employment opportunities for students have been secured from the
University's 'Frontrunners' programme, to support the Essex HR Clinic.
