Christine Dettmann gave a paper “Getting the picture: Reflections on Filmmaking” at the BFE Conference: Mediation, Writing & Performance, University College Falmouth/UK, 7-10 April 2011).  Drawing from her experiences of the field trip to Angola, she looks for a feasible approach to filmmaking which acknowledges intersubjective moments during filming.
