Holocaust Memorial Week
27 - 31 January 2014
Since 2007 the University of Essex has marked Holocaust Memorial Day with a series of events taking place during the week that leads up to or includes 27 January, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp by Soviet troops.
We are currently preparing the programme for Holocaust Memorial Week 2014. Events will take place at the University's Colchester campus and in Colchester town centre, and will include talks, performances, theatre and art, along with a Ceremony of Light to commemorate victims of the Holocaust and other genocides.
