External Teaching Staff Payment Pack

The information on this page will help you get paid on time and accurately. In accordance with the rules of Her Majesties Revenue and Customs we are obligated to process your payment through our Casual payroll.

Please ensure that all four documents on this page are fully completed and returned to the University in a timely manner.

1.Staff questionnaire for “One Off” payments for weekly payroll

2. Blank covering letter for the details of the work undertaken.
                    
Please indicate on the covering letter:

- course/scheme you have contributed to,

- the date the lecture was delivered on,

- the amount of hours taught each day

- the name of the course lead.

 

Please find below a form which explains documents you are required to produce on your first day of working. This provides the University with the proof required by the authorities to ensure you have the right to undertake paid work within the UK.

3. Right to Work in the UK documentation request

Please also complete all sections of the form below, this data is required to be held by the University to ensure compliance with equal opportunities and provide required information for the annual HESA return.

4. HESA Return

We are sorry to pass this extra burden on to you as External Teaching staff; however it is a requirement of the authorities that the University collect this information for any individuals who provide services to the University in return for payment.
