The conference takes place on Saturday 29 April, from 11.00am - 6.00pm, in LTB 7 and The Tony Rich Teaching Centre, at our Colchester Campus.
Following the conference, we'll be holding an 'after party' at Frangos to celebrate the day.
Registration will open shortly.
What is the conference?
Each one-day conference is held in April, bringing together students from the Department, across all years,
who have an interest in political science, economics and human rights to present and discuss topics with peers
The conference format includes an introduction to the day, guest speakers and presentation of papers to panels of peers
and academics. More than 200 students have attended previous conferences and many presented their own, original political science research and projects.
Present your paper
Students are invited to present papers on a variety of topics. Presenting at a student panel is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, create new ideas and meet new people.
There are no restrictions on the paper topic as long as it is related to political studies and presentations can be based on previous work,
done as individuals or in pairs. Presentations lead to further discussions amongst peers and academics.
