Science' Network of Excellence presentation
EXCCEL Director represented Essex as part of a 27-university
pan-European consortium discussing the approach to take to
Internet Science as part of the 7th Framework Programme.

EXCCEL Launch, Europe House, 32 Smith Square, Westminster, London
EXCCEL was launched (photos) at Europe House. Lord Philips of Sudbury, Chancellor of the University of Essex, and Professor Jane Wright, Head of the School of Law and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Elect, made short introductions with regard to Essex Law School history and progress in researching European and comparative law. This was followed by an introduction to the Centre by its Director and members. The event was hosted by Jonathan Scheele, UK Representative of the European Commission.
