Our newly established Essex Sustainability Institute (ESI) is the hub of all
sustainability-focussed teaching, research and consultancy at Essex.
The ESI builds on a rich tradition of cross-cutting academic work, acting as a
platform that brings students, and social and natural scientists together. Our aim is to
facilitate research and knowledge transfer on global environmental challenges, building
strong links with private and public organisations, as well as the local community.
Our new MSc Environment and Resource Management is an exciting postgraduate
course run between the School of Biological
Sciences and Essex Business School.
This interdisciplinary programme will equip students with an understanding of
key issues and debates around ecological sustainability, governance and
corporate ethics and responsibility. For more details please visit our
postgraduate study page.
