EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ONLINE PROGRAMME MOODLE INSTRUCTIONS 2011 Launch the web page: http://moodle.essex.ac.uk/ You will see this screen below. Enter your University Username and your University Password. Click on Login.
An Overview of the courses will appear. (No image here). You will then enter the Cylix moving graphics page. Just let it run. (No image here). It will then take you into a page like this one below.
Click on ‘Start Course’ (If you see a dialogue box about ‘Pop Ups’ at the very top of the page, please Click on the option to allow ‘Pop Ups’. ) You will then see this screen. Click on ‘OK’.
The Course Configuration screen will then appear. (No image here). If you want to change the computer configuration to adjust for hearing, etc., please change the settings. If not, just Click on ‘OK’. The Course Menu screen below will then appear. Please work your way through the Course Menu by Clicking on each button until the end.
When you have finished the test you will have completed Module 1. Please press the appropriate button to print out your completion certificate.
You can
print out a Module summary by clicking on the ‘Toolkit’ button and then
the ‘Summary’ button.
Important
If you do not want to complete the course in one session, you must press the
‘Exit’ key at the top right hand
corner of the page and then ‘Log out’.
This means that the next time you go into the course, it will pick up
where you left off.
To complete Module 2, please go back to the beginning of the course and click on 'Managing Diversity'. You will be led through the Menu as before.
