E-Learning Training - Summer 2009
The Learning Technology Team are running the
following training sessions in September 2009. If you are interested
in attending one of these training sessions, please contact the LTT

Please note that these courses are designed to run for approximately
2 hours.
Update: Training sessions on
the 21st and 22nd September have now been cancelled due to low
numbers. Only sessions running on 28th and 29th September are
available.
An Introduction to Moodle
This course is a general introduction to using
Moodle, it covers:
- What is Moodle?
- How to access Moodle
- Using Moodle as a Student
- Using Moodle as a Teacher
- Designing and building your own Moodle

An Introduction to Personal Response Systems
This course is a general introduction to
Personal Response Systems (PRS), it covers:
- Overview of the Personal Response System
- Using PRS as a Student
- Using PRS as a Teacher
- Preparing for a PRS lecture
- Authoring PRS questions in PowerPoint
- Delivering a PRS lecture
- Reviewing and Evaluating a PRS session

Advanced Personal Response Systems
This course is a more advanced overview of
Personal Response Systems, it covers:
- Brief overview of the Personal Response
System
- Using PRS with a known audience
- PRS Rosters
- Scoring and Exporting PRS responses
- Homework Mode

An Introduction to Perception (Online
Assessments)
This course is a general introduction to
Perception, it covers:

- Attempting a Perception assessment as a
