MSc Economics and Econometrics
This course aims to provide an advanced qualification not only in
economics but also in econometrics. Students on this course follow more
in-depth modules in econometrics than those taking MSc Economics.
Compulsory modules in microeconomics and macroeconomics, plus theoretical
and applied aspects of econometrics are supplemented by optional modules
which students can choose to reflect their own interests.
The MSc in Economics and Econometrics has ESRC recognition, which means it
can be taken with the
PhD in Economics to make up a 1+3 pathway for those students
intending to apply for
ESRC funding.
