Graduate Diploma programmes

The department offers a flexible Diploma in Economics programme, intended for students whose background is not suitable for admission to an MSc degree. Students can customise their programme to permit admission to any of the department's MSc programmes. 

We also offer the Diploma in Economics with English for Academic Purposes, this course is designed for students who need to improve their language and study skills as well as their subject knowledge in Economics before going on to a Master's programme.

Although these diplomas are stand-alone qualifications, they are designed to enable students to proceed to an MSc programme in the following academic year. They comprise of 120 credits taken in one academic year.
