Building up your skills and employability

Your Essex degree course can assist you in moving towards your chosen career goals. Through your academic work, both in the classroom and from independent study, you can build valuable employability skills. The key skills table sets out the skills you can acquire through your academic work as an economics student at Essex.

However, to build on the employability skills gained from your degree you may also wish to acquire ancillary abilities such as CV building, interviewing and presentation skills. These are also available at the University:
