Cihan Zaimoglu
Second-year student, BSc Accounting and Finance
After a big gap in my education due to my disability, I decided to do a
degree because I realised that I needed to do something for myself. Coming to
university was one of the best things I could have done. I have made some
amazing friends and formed really good relationships with my lecturers.
Everybody in my School, lecturers, tutors and administrative officers, have been
really friendly and helpful.
My favourite modules are Financial Analysis and Management Accounting. I
really enjoy working with numbers. I think that the Introduction to Banking
module will be really useful for my future career. At the moment, I really want
to keep my options open to make the most of the opportunities which come my way.
My favourite place on the Colchester Campus is Square 4 I absolutely love
socialising with my friends here!
