Matthew Lewis
Third-year student, BSc Banking and Finance
Essex really appealed to me because of the strong reputation of Essex
Business School and the feel of the Colchester Campus. I felt that it would
provide a well equipped and studious atmosphere that would benefit my studies.
During my first year I lived in the University Quays, which provided very
secure and comfortable accommodation, and allowed me to meet lots of new people.
Essex offers a really supportive environment to all of its students, with lots
of opportunities to meet likeminded people through the vast assortment of clubs
and societies. This helped to make settling into Essex easy!
My School has been excellent the teaching standard is very high, the
facilities are well equipped and the choice of modules is extensive. I would
definitely recommend it to a prospective student.
I have so many fond memories of my time at Essex so far and with another year
to go I expect there are more that will be added to the list yet!!
