Abhijit is a Lecturer in Business Economics at Essex Business School. His research interests lie in studying markets and market dynamics, innovation, R&D and knowledge creation, dynamics of large complex systems and social networks. He uses quantitative and computational methodologies in his research - such as agent based modelling, applied game theory, econometrics and is interested in interdisciplinary research. He has published in a number of internationally recognized journals such as Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Advances in Complex Systems, Mathematical Social Sciences etc. Abhijit has extensive experience of working in private sector R&D with close connections to marketing and product development. Prior to joining EBS, he worked as a Research Scientist in  Unilever Research & Development, UK. Abhijit has a PhD in Economics, specializing in Industrial Organization and Game Theory from Stony Brook University in New York.
