Marketing Research Group
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group at the Essex Business School has
recently established a
Marketing Research Group (MRG) to focus the research expertise of colleagues in
the School researching in the field of marketing. The MRG's immediate priorities
are to build research capacity and enhance its research reputation. The group
specialises in business marketing strategy, new product development, retail
marketing and supply chain management. Most of the group's marketing research
projects involve empirical research in the context of manufacturing,
high-technology, retailing and non-profit sectors. This reflects the managerial
orientation of the courses and modules offered within the Entrepreneurship and
Innovation Group (EIG) at Essex Business School.
The group's
research interests include business markets and networks, new product
