Senior Enterprise Fellows (SEFs) are drawn from industry, public sector and
academia in the UK and abroad. The main functions of the SEFs are to:
- Advise on and promote the work of the School in relation to
entrepreneurship research, education and training to business, government
and potential students; UK and abroad;
- Generate custom for the University and region through links with
external organisations;
- Make relevant inputs (eg master classes, short courses and postgraduate
programmes and where appropriate, external supervision of research);
- Help with business surgeries and workshops on innovation and new venture
creation;
- Promote and participate in the entrepreneurship conferences and seminars
of Essex Business School Southend.
Enterprise Fellows (EFs) are drawn from the wider pool of young graduates
seeking to enhance their own careers in the field of entrepreneurship; those
intending to work in partnership with the University of Essex to promote links
with industry and education in this country and abroad.
