18 April 2017: Essex Youth Tourism Competition

It's easy to help us find Essex’s Best Youth Tourist Attraction!

How do I enter?

If you’re aged 16 to 25:

  • take a photo or selfie of your favourite Essex tourist attraction or place to visit 
  • post it on Instagram (your account will need to be public)
  • name the attraction in your caption and explain why it’s your favourite Essex day out
  • use the hashtag #essexyouthtourism and tag @essexebs in the caption
  • follow us to find out the winner 
  • you can also enter on Facebook by adding your photo to the comments section on our competition post (pinned to the top of our page)

Entries close on 18 May 2017 and terms and conditions apply.

Who will win?

The most photographed attraction will be crowned Essex’s Best Youth Tourist Attraction 2017. The most creative, inspirational or just plain pretty photo will win the summer prize package.

Bernard Donoghue, Director of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA), will be judging the competition. 

What's the prize?

To celebrate the launch of our new BSc Tourism Management degree at the University of Essex’s Southend Campus, Essex Business School is giving you the chance to win up to £500 of summer days out for you and a friend in the Essex Youth Tourism competition.
