The Essex MBA

MBA Scholarships

Three MBA scholarships of £3000 each will be available for academic year 2012-13.

The MBA scholarships support talented, full-time MBA students, who can demonstrate an excellent academic background and extensive managerial experience. The scholarships are available to home, EU and overseas students. To be considered, you must hold an offer for the full-time MBA programme.

The scholarships will be applied as a tuition fee discount. The full-time tuition fee in 2012-13 is £15,950, so if you successfully secure a scholarship, you will only be required to pay tuition fees of £12,950.

Applying for a Scholarship

You can only apply for a MBA Scholarship once you have received a formal offer for a place on the MBA programme. Once you have received an offer a link to the scholarship application form will appear in your myEssex Applicant Portal, or directly from this page. You will then be able to submit an application for a scholarship up until the closing date of 13 May 2012. The three successful candidates will then be notified sometime during June 2012.

For further information, please contant the MBA Administrator.

Santander Scholarships

Applicants who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to apply for a Santander Masters Scholarship. These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, to students who would not otherwise be able to take up a place at Essex.

Please note that applicants may only receive one scholarship administered by the University of Essex. In the event that a successful MBA Scholarship applicant is already in receipt of another University award, the larger of the two awards will be kept and the other released.
