Part-time MBA Programme

The part-time MBA pathway runs over 24 months. Please check that your visa allows you to study in the UK on a part-time basis before applying for this course.

Applications can be made online in the usual way. Please enter "24 months" in the "Proposed period of study" field.

The part-time MBA pathway is studied over two days a week for two years. 80 credits are studied during Year 1 and 100 credits, including the MBA Project, are studied during Year 2. The part-time course structure is shown below. Please view a copy of the draft part-time MBA timetable.

Please note: Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that modules will run, the School cannot guarantee the availability of all optional elective modules or that it will be possible to choose a particular combination of options.

Weeks 6 - 10 Teaching Block 2	Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Week 11	Revision lectures for Block 1 and Block 2 modules.
Spring Term
Week 15	Block 1 and Block 2 Examinations
Weeks 16 - 20 Teaching Block 3	People and Organisations Plus ONE elective from: Developing Business Plans Industry Expert Lectures in Finance OR the Managing the Innovative Business Module (taught intensively over one week during Week 30).
Weeks 21 - 25 Teaching Block 4	Research Methods and Skills* Plus ONE elective from: Cases in Financial Reporting and Corporate Governance Portfolio Management Using Financial and Commodity Derivatives in Business OR the Managing the Innovative Business Module (taught intensively over one week during Week 30).
Summer Term
Week 30	Managing the Innovative Business(Elective module) (Module taught intensively over 5 days.)
Week 31	Creativity and the Management of Change
Week 32	Revision lectures for Block 3 and Block 4 modules
