Key Facts of the MBA Programme

  • Magnifying glass Three MBA programmes are available - a full-time 12 month programme, a part-time 24 month programme and a modular programme which can be completed over a period between three to six years.

  • Research-led teaching that directly informs current business practice.

  • Curriculum development and delivery are directly informed by members of Essex Business School's external Advisory Board and Executive Fellows, who are particularly involved in the 'Ensuring Employability' workshop series.

  • Induction Week includes study skills workshops and visits to both profit and non-profit organisations. In 2010 and 2011, MBA students visited HSBC HQ London and Tate Modern. In December 2010, the MBA cohort were invited to Ernst and Young's offices in London to discuss with various members of staff the company's "Action Amid Uncertainty" report which explores how organisations are responding to the complexities associated with climate change risks.

  • The course fee for the full-time MBA in 2012 is £15,950.
