Course Structure

The MBA programme comprises 180 credits, made up of the modules listed below. For definitions of core, compulsory and elective (optional) modules, please refer to the MBA Rules of Assessment.

For details of how the various programmes are structured throughout the year:

Modules

Two CORE modules:
MBA Project (40 credits). Research Methods and Skills (20 credits).
Six COMPULSORY modules:
Managing for Sustainability (20 credits). Innovation and Entrepreneurship (20 credits). Managerial Accounting (10 credits). International Business Environment (10 credits). People and Organisations (10 credits). Business Strategy (10 credits).
Four ELECTIVE (optional) modules from the list:
Cases in Financial Reporting and Corporate Governance (10 credits). Performance Management (10 credits). Portfolio Management (10 credits). Managing the Innovative Business (10 credits). Developing Business Plans (10 credits). Industry Expert Lectures in Finance (10 credits). Using Financial and Commodity Derivatives in Business (10 credits). Ethical Marketing (10 credits).
