We equip you with skills for the modern workplace. Whether you’re seeking graduate employment or starting your own business, we offer bespoke careers advice and a range of employability options to enhance your CV.

The finance sector faces rapid regulatory and technological change. Our global economy is under pressure and banks need informed, responsible, finance professionals to take action.

At Essex Business School, we develop your analytical and critical thinking skills so you can thrive in the demanding fields of finance and banking. You obtain advanced knowledge and understand the changing role of modern financial institutions, operating in increasingly market-orientated, fast-moving and risk operating environments. Most importantly, we teach you to act ethically.

You join one of the largest, most respected, finance groups in the UK. Our academics and practitioners are thought-leaders in their fields and regularly present at the Bank of England, the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve.

Our postgraduate finance and banking courses

All of our finance and banking Masters are based at our Colchester Campus in our new building. Our courses have a flexible, modular structure, with most available to study on either a one-year full-time or two-year part-time basis.
