Dr Steffen Boehm

Dr Steffen Boehm - Senior Lecturer in Management; and Environment Officer

Areas of expertise: Critical management studies taking into account the social, ethical and environmental consequences of businesses. Carbon markets. The value of culture, including how the arts, creativity and culture are valued in the 'knowledge economy.' Social movements including how groups resist managerialism and globalisation and develop alternative forms of social organisation. Critiques of automobility, how cars have come to dominate the world and how alternative, more sustainable transport systems can be developed.

Member of: the European Group for Organization Studies; the British Sociological Association; and the Green Task Force at the University. Associate Member of the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation at the University of Warwick.

Dr Manuela Nocker

Dr Manuel Nocker - Lecturer in Organisation Studies and Innovation

Areas of expertise:  Project teams and critical project studies, professional identity, organisational ethics, and strategy-as-practice.  She has extensive experience in consultancy, training, and executive coaching for organisational development and HRM, management learning, and career development in the private, public and non-for-profit sectors. She would be particularly interested in consultancy within the spheres of organisational innovation and collaboration, the enhancement of international project environments to bring about sustainable cooperation, and the support of individual professionals, talent, and teams in the creative and artistic sectors.
