University of Essex

Alumni

Congratulations to our 2011 graduates!

Now you've graduated from Essex Business School, you become part of a fantastic community of University of Essex and EBS graduates who live and work across the UK and around the world.  Make sure you don't miss out of any of the great benefits of being an Essex alumnus by registering with our Alumni Relations Department.

You may be an Essex Business School alumnus and didn't know it!

If you studied at the University of Essex in either the Dept of Accounting & Financial Management or the Dept of Accounting, Finance and Management or the School of Entrepreneurship and Business, then you are automatically an alumnus of the Essex Business School (EBS).

EBS was created in August 2008 following the merger of the Dept of Accounting, Finance and Management with the School of Entrepreneurship and Business.  We are planning lots of great things for our EBS alumnus, so look out for news on the EBS Facebook page or make sure you are registered with the University's Alumni Relations department.

Looking to give something back to your University?

We are keen to build links with businesses and organisations who can play a part in the development of our students.

If you think you could:

  • Offer a work placement or internship
  • Mentor or support one of our students
  • Offer a job or careers advice
  • Talk to our students about your industry and its challenges and rewards

Contact our client relations manager, Louise Nash (louisen@essex.ac.uk) for further information.

Tell us your news

Here at Essex, we love to promote the successes of our alumni. Are you doing something unique and exciting with your Essex degree that would be of interest to other people?

Tell us more!

  • Do you work for a top-ranked business?
  • Have you started your own company?
  • Have you received a promotion or outstanding achievement?
  • Are you involved in any projects that benefit your community or the environment?

Please tell us what you are doing so we can share it with others. Simply email Liz Gordon-Hancock (lizgh@essex.ac.uk) to fill us in on what you're doing. We would love to hear from you.
